The State Agrarian University of Moldova (Romanian: Universitatea Agrară de Stat din Moldova) is a university located in Chişinău, Moldova.[1] It was founded in 1933.
Organization
The State Agrarian University of Moldova (SAUM) is the only higher agricultural education institution in the Republic of Moldova and the first higher education institution founded in Chişinău. SAUM has a history that began in April 9, 1933 when King Carol II of Romania promulgated the Law concerning the transformation of Agricultural Sciences Section of the University of Iaşi into the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences with its center in Chişinău.
At present, SAUM has about 7000 students and master's degree students trained respectively at 25 specialties and 25 specializations.
