The company has approximately 27 retail stores in New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, Virginia, Maryland, and Connecticut.

The company was founded in 1996 by Kenny Khym, co-founder of the Southpole apparel brand. Originally, the retailer has established its name by selling clothing inspired by hip hop fashion and has grew quickly in the 90's. Today, the company is going through changes and has updated their logo as 'AAO' to showcase a trendier look to appeal to young customers. [1]
