The Afram Plains North constituency is in the Eastern region of Ghana. The current member of Parliament for the constituency is Emmanuel Aboagye Didieye. He was elected on the ticket of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), winning the constituency with a majority of 10,133 votes.[2] He succeeded Joseph Tsatsu Agbenu who had represented the constituency in the 4th Republican parliament on the ticket of the National Democratic Congress.
