Adeel Hashmi (born in July 17, 1973) is a Pakistani television/film actor, comedian, social worker, producer, filmmaker, and screenwriter.[2] He is known for his comical roles in shows such as Teen Bata Teen and Ulta Saeeda.[3][1]

Family
Adeel Hashmi belongs to a well known family in Pakistan. He is the grandson of the renowned poet Faiz Ahmed Faiz, whose wife Alys Faiz was a well known educator.[1] His mother Muneeza Hashmi worked at PTV for many years. His aunt Salima Hashmi is a prominent educational personality known for a campaign supporting nuclear disarmament. Another relative, Mira Hashmi, is also a retired television actress.
