Adampur, Pratapgarh, Uttar Pradesh

Adampur is a small village of District Pratapgarh, Uttar Pradesh.

It is situated at the bank of Sai River (tributary of River Ganges). Adampur's nearest market is Rasooli Bazar and Kithawar Bazar.[1]

Its nearest railway station is Antu which is 15 km away.

History

According to the local people, Adampur is named after the old Sufi Sant Adam Shah Baba who came from Afghanistan.
