Adam Brooks (born May 6, 1996) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player who is currently under contract as a prospect to the Toronto Maple Leafs of the National Hockey League (NHL).

Playing career

Brooks was selected by the Pats in the second round, 25th overall in the 2011 WHL draft. During the 2015–16 WHL season, Brooks lead the league in assists (82) and points with 120, earning him the Bob Clarke Trophy.[1] This caught the attention of the Toronto Maple Leafs, who selected Brooks 92nd overall in 2016 draft. Brooks was eligible for both the 2014 and 2015 drafts previously, but went undrafted.

Brooks was named team Captain of the Pats to start his final junior year in the 2016–17 WHL season. That season he nearly won his second consecutive Bob Clarke trophy, which was instead earned by line-mate Sam Steel, who scored one more point than Brooks.

On June 29, 2017, Brooks was signed to a three-year, entry-level contract with the Toronto Maple Leafs.[2]
