Adam Brett Walker II (born October 18, 1991) is an American professional baseball outfielder in the Cincinnati Reds organization.
Career
Walker played college baseball at Jacksonville University from 2010 to 2012.[1] During his career he hit .359/.441/.635 with 41 home runs and 174 runs batted in. In 2011, he was named the A-Sun Player of the Year.
He was drafted by the Minnesota Twins in the third round of the 2012 Major League Baseball Draft.[2] He made his debut with the Elizabethton Twins, hitting .250/.310/.496 with 14 home runs in 232 at-bats over 58 games. In 2013, he played for the Cedar Rapids Kernals.[3] He finished the year hitting .278/.319/.526 with 27 home runs and 109 runs batted in over 508 at-bats in 129 games. He was the first minor league baseball player to reach 100 RBI's in 2013.[4][5] He won the George M. Trautman Award as Topps Midwest League Player of the Year.[6][7]
The Twins added Walker to their 40-man roster after the 2015 season.[8]
On November 18, 2016, the Milwaukee Brewers claimed Walker off waivers.[9] He was waived on November 28 and claimed by the Baltimore Orioles on December 2.[10][11] On January 20, 2017, Walker was designated for assignment to make room for Mark Trumbo on the roster.[12] He was claimed by the Atlanta Braves on January 26.[13] After passing through waivers five days later, Walker was outrighted to the Triple A Gwinnett Braves.[14]
On May 10, 2017, Walker signed a minor league deal with the Baltimore Orioles.
On August 4, 2017, Walker signed a minor league deal with the Cincinnati Reds.

His father, Adam Walker, played in the National Football League for the Minnesota Vikings.[15]
