Adaa Khan is an Indian television actress and model.[2][3][4] She is recognized for her roles in the shows Behenein as Aakashi, Amrit Manthan as Rajkumari Amrit,[5][6][7] Piya Basanti Re as Piya, Naagin as Shesha[8][9][10] and Pardes Mein Hai Mera Dil as Aahana.[11]

Personal life

Adaa Khan was born on 12 May 1986 and raised in the city of dreams Mumbai in the state of Maharashtra, India. Her whole family belongs to the same city and this lead to her easy access into the television industry as everything is based out of here. Adaa Khan parents always stood by their daughter like a thick rock in the times of misfortune. Khan finished her Graduation in English literature. She also got a Masters degree in Sociology. After completing her studies, she then concentrated on her passion which is acting.[12]

Adaa lost her mother Parvin Khan in March 2013 due to cancer.[13][14]

Early life and career

Khan started her career as a model.[15] Then she did several advertisements.[16][17][18] She made her acting debut with Sony India's TV show Palampur Express.[19]

In 2010, Khan played the supporting role of Aakashi in Behenein on Star Plus.[20][21] In 2012, Khan was seen as the herioc Rajkumari Amrit Kaur in Life OK's show Amrit Manthan.[22][23]

She has also done episodic roles in Yeh Hai Aashiqui,[24][25] Crime Patrol, Code Red and Savdhaan India @ 11.[26] She was also part of the reality show Welcome 2 – Baazi Mehmaan Nawazi Ki.[27]

In 2014, she played the title role of Piya in Piya Basanti Re on Sony Pal. Khan played the lead role of Naagin Sesha in Colors TV's show Naagin produced by Balaji Telefilms and is also doing Comedy Nights Bachao on Colors TV. She played for the team Jaipur Raj Joshiley in Box Cricket League (2016).
