Archbishop Dr. Abraham Viruthakulangara is the serving Archbishop of Nagpur, India. He is also the President of the Maharashtra Regional Bishops' Conference.

He was born on 5 June 1943 in Kerala, India.

Religious Life

He Ordained a Catholic Priest on 28 October 1969. He was appointed Bishop of Khandwa on 4 March 1977 and was Ordained a Bishop on 13 July 1977. He was Appointed Archbishop of Nagpur, India on 17 January 1998.[1][2][3]
