Abertillery Bluebirds F.C. are from Sixbells Village outside Abertillery.
Abertillery Bluebirds Football Club was founded in 1989 as a youth side which competed in the Gwent County Under 18’s league. The following season, the club applied to join the North Gwent football league and was granted a spot in the first division.
The First Team play their trade in the Gwent County League 1st Division. The Reserve and Development Teams play in the North Gwent League Reserve Division.
During the close season the club moved to the Abertillery Leisure Centre and play on their 3G pitch.[1]
