Abdullah bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani (born 9 February 1988)[1] is the Deputy Emir of the State of Qatar and designated successor to Emir of Qatar.

He is the son of the 7th and former Emir, Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, and a younger half-brother of the 8th and current Emir, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani. His mother is Sheikha Noora bint Khalid Al Thani.[2]

In November 2014, Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani appointed Abdullah to the post of Deputy Emir.[1]
