Abdul Rashid Godil (Urdu: عبد الرشید گوڈیل; born 7 September 1960) is a Pakistani politician who is currently a member of National Assembly of Pakistan, belonging to the Muttahida Qaumi Movement.

Early life

Godil was born in Karachi on September 7, 1960.[1] Another report suggest he was born on 17 September 1960.[2]

Political career

In 1991, he was elected as a member of the All Pakistan Memon Federation and later, was elected as its president.[1]

He began his political career in 2005 and became union council nazim.[1]

He was elected to the National Assembly of Pakistan from NA-252 (Karachi)on ticket of Muttahida Qaumi Movement in Pakistani general election, 2008.[1][3][4]

He was re-elected to the National Assembly of Pakistan from NA-252 (Karachi)on ticket of Muttahida Qaumi Movement in Pakistani general election, 2013.[1][5][4]
