Abdirashid Abdullahi Mohamed (Somali: Cabdirashiid Cabdullahi Moxamed) is a Somali politician. He is the former governor of the Bay region of Somalia.[1] On 21 March 2017, he was appointed as the Minister of Defence by the Prime Minister.[2] On 29 March 2017, the Prime Minister's cabinet nominations were approved by parliament.[3]
