Abbotsford Senior Secondary is a public high school in Abbotsford, British Columbia part of School District 34 Abbotsford. The school name was changed over the summer of 2006 to Abbotsford Collegiate, as part of the school district merging Abbotsford Senior Secondary and the Career Technical Centre. The name was changed back to Abbotsford Senior Secondary School in 2012.
The original building had been in use since 1955 and had been taken down as the new building had gone beside it; completed in 2012, reusing only the main gymnasium.

In November of 2016 the school had encountered unprecedented tragedy when a gentleman with mental ilness entered the school and stabbed two students. This resulted in the death of one student and wounding of another. After this event the Abbotsford School District released a report outlining areas for improvement regarding school and district policy. This report ultimately found that the event was largely random and was not indicative of the school's overall security. The suspect in the stabbing has yet to be sentenced.
Abbotsford Senior is one of thirteen schools in British Columbia offering the International Baccalaureate program.[2]
