Aayiram Roobai (English: Thousand Rupees) is 1964 Tamil film directed and written by K. S. Gopalakrishnan.[1] The film was produced by Chinna Arunachalam. Music by K. V. Mahadevan[2] assets to the film. It stars Gemini Ganesan, Savitri Nagesh and M. R. Radha played lead role to protagonist.[3][4]

Reception

The Indian Express stated, "A crude and twisted adaptation of the Million Pound Note, Aayiram Roopai contains precious little that is commendable. "The Aayiram Roopai" note in the film is counterfeit, so also the entertainment it doles out."[7]
