Aaron Meyerson is a media and entertainment investment banker at Qualia Legacy Advisors. From 2010-2012, he was President of Programming and Development for CBS Television Distribution.[1] He also worked as a senior development and programming executive at MTV,[2] Oxygen Media[3] and Fox TV Studios.[4]
Career
Meyerson was President of Programming and Development at CBS Television.[5][6][7]
Meyerson personally initiated and negotiated the partnership between CBS and Yahoo to transform and rebrand The Insider TV show into OMG Insider in order to create a 24/7 content experience across TV, Internet and mobile.[8] He worked as Senior Vice President of Alternative Development and Current Series Programming at MTV.[9]
Prior to MTV, Meyerson was Senior Vice President, Development and Production at the Oxygen Network.[10] Meyerson started his TV career at Fox TV Studios (a division of News Corp), serving as Vice President (later promoted to Senior Vice President) of Business Development and Non-Fiction Programming.[11]
Before Fox, Meyerson was in the feature film industry, working his way up to Vice President, Creative Affairs at New Line Cinema[12] and then starting a live action film division at DIC Entertainment,[13][14] taking DIC’s TV animation library and developing live action films. His film credits include Dumb and Dumber, Inspector Gadget,[15] Meet the Deedles, Above the Rim and The Disney Channel’s Genius.
