Aaron Ampudia (born September 6th, 1992) is a Mexican-born racer and entrepreneur. Currently living in San Diego CA, he is the co-owner of Papas&Beer Club, Papas&Beer Racing, and sole owner of NINK Restaurant in Ensenada, Mexico.

Biography

Aaron Ampudia was born and raised in Ensenada, Mexico. At a young age, he chose to get involved with the family business endeavors. By the age of 22, he opened up his own bar/restaurant in Ensenada.

Aaron began racing when he was 19 years old with his two brothers, Rodrigo and Alan Ampudia. He is a two time SCORE International World Champion, winning in the Baja 1000, Baja 500, Baja 250, and a win at the Baja Sur 500 with Papas&Beer Racing. [1]

Racing Career

Aaron Ampudia began racing in 2011. His father, Rodrigo Ampudia Sr. and older brother were already in the racing scene, so ‘Ampudia’ wasn’t necessarily a new name on the block.[2] [3]

Being raised in the Baja California peninsula, Aaron Ampudia’s involvement with off-road racing started at an early age. His Father raced the SCORE Baja 500 and Baja 1000 back in the 1980’s. [4] [5]

Aaron Ampudia was recognized by SCORE International for riding the courses of Baja. He won first in his class (½ 1600) at the SCORE Baja 1000.[6] [7]
