ACL data analytics is a data extraction and analysis software used for fraud detection & prevention, and risk management. By sampling large data sets, ACL data analysis software is used to find irregularities or patterns in transactions that could indicate control weaknesses or fraud.
In 2011, ACL expanded into the electronic work papers market with the acquisition of Workpapers.com.[7] The acquisition signaled the shift by the company towards a cloud, SaaS model.[8] The cloud-based platform does not rely on third-party vendors and is hosted on Amazon's infrastructure.[9]
ACL also acquired digital design firm Artletic LLC in 2015.[10]
