The AECC CJ-1000A (Chang Jiang-1000A/长江-1000A) is a high-bypass turbofan jet engine. As of 2015, this engine is still under development. A full-size mockup of the CJ-1000A was unveiled during the Zhuhai Airshow in 2012.[1]
The CJ-1000A is a being developed to power the narrow-body twin-engine jet airliner Comac C919, with a thrust of 10,000–19,999 kilograms-force (98,070–196,120 N; 22,050–44,090 lbf).[2]
AVIC Commercial Aircraft Engines (ACAE) aims at 2022-25 for CJ-1000A certification.[3]
