A. Asokan
A. Asokan, also spelled A. Asokan, is an Indian politician and was a Member of the Legislative Assembly of Tamil Nadu. He was elected to the Tamil Nadu legislative assembly as a Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) candidate from Tiruvarur constituency in the 1996 In 2011"'A.Asokan"' appointed as special representative of tamilnadu at newdelhi by selvi j.jayalalitha[1] and 2001 elections. The constituency was reserved for candidates from the Scheduled Castes.[2]
In April 2006, Asokan left the DMK to join the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK).[3] The DMK had denied him the opportunity to stand as their candidate in the 2006 elections.[4]
