Aṣṭachāp

Aṣṭachāp was a term used to refer to a group of 8 devoutly poets established by Vallabhacharya and his son Vitthalnath, who sing different prayers and kirtans in praise of Lord Krishna.[1] It was established in 1565 AD.[2]
