The United States Air Force's 72d Expeditionary Air Support Operations Squadron (72 EASOS) is a combat support unit located at an undisclosed location in the Middle East. The 72 EASOS provides tactical Command and Control of airpower assets for the Joint Forces Air Component Commander in support of the Joint Forces Land Component Commander in combat operations.

Lineage

Constituted as 72 Tactical Control Flight on 24 Jun 1969. Activated on 25 Jun 1969. Inactivated on 31 Mar 1988. Redesignated 72 Expeditionary Air Support Operations Squadron, and converted to provisional status, on 12 Feb 2009.[1]
