The 2018 Welsh Open is a professional ranking snooker tournament that will take place from 26 February to 4 March 2018 at the Motorpoint Arena in Cardiff, Wales.[1] It will be the fifteenth ranking event of the 2017/2018 season.

Stuart Bingham is the defending champion, having beaten Judd Trump 9–8 in the 2017 final.
