The 2018 Copa América Femenina will be the eighth edition of the Copa América Femenina, an association football competition for women's national teams in South America affiliated with CONMEBOL. The tournament will be played between 4–22 April 2018 in Chile.

Qualification for other tournaments

Same as previous editions, the tournament served as CONMEBOL's qualifier for the FIFA Women's World Cup, the Pan American Games football tournament, and the Olympic football tournament. The tournament provides two places for the 2019 World Cup in France, four for the 2019 Pan American Games in Lima and two for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.[1]

Host selection

Chile were named hosts in April 2017.[1] Dates were announced on 21 July 2017.[2]

Teams

All ten CONMEBOL teams are eligible to enter.
