The 2018 CAF Super Cup (officially the 2018 Total CAF Super Cup for sponsorship reasons)[1] will be the 26th CAF Super Cup, an annual football match in Africa organized by the Confederation of African Football (CAF), between the winners of the previous season's two CAF club competitions, the CAF Champions League and the CAF Confederation Cup.
The match will be played between the 2017 CAF Champions League winners and the 2017 CAF Confederation Cup winners.

Rules
The CAF Super Cup is played as a single match, with the CAF Champions League winners hosting the match. If the score is tied at the end of regulation, extra time will not be played, and the penalty shoot-out will be used to determine the winner (CAF Champions League Regulations XXVII and CAF Confederation Cup Regulations XXV).[2][3]
Sponsorship
In July 2016, Total has secured an eight-year sponsorship package from the Confederation of African Football (CAF) to support 10 of its principal competitions. Total started with the Africa Cup of Nations that was held in Gabon therefore renaming it Total Africa cup of Nations.[4] Due to this sponsorship, starting from 2017 the tournament is called the "Total CAF Super Cup".
