The 2017 Players Championship Finals (also known as the 2017 Cash Converters Players Championship for sponsorship purposes) will be the tenth edition of the PDC darts tournament, the Players Championship Finals, which will see for the second time the top 64 players from the 22 Players Championship events of 2017 taking part. The tournament will take place from 24 to 26 November at the Butlin's Minehead Resort in Minehead. Sixteen time world champion Phil Taylor and veteran Terry Jenkins will be notable absences at the tournament after not playing the Pro Tour Circuit.

Michael van Gerwen is the two-times defending champion by beating Adrian Lewis and Dave Chisnall in the last years' finals.[1]

Prize money

The 2017 Players Championship Finals will have a total prize fund of £400,000, same amount than the 2016 staging of the tournament.[2] The following is the breakdown of the fund:

Qualification

The top 64 players from the Players Championships Order of Merit, which is solely based on prize money won in the twenty-two Players Championships events during the season, will qualify for the tournament.
