The 2017 Paul Hunter Classic is a professional ranking snooker tournament that will take place in August 2017 at the Stadthalle in Fürth, Germany.[1] It will be the third ranking event of the 2017/2018 season.[1] The tournament is named in honour of former snooker professional, Paul Hunter.[2][3]
Mark Selby is the defending champion, having defeated Tom Ford 4–2 in the 2016 final.[4]

The breakdown of prize money for this year is shown below:[5]
