The 2017 Asian Men's Volleyball Championship was the 19th edition of the Asian Men's Volleyball Championship, the biennial international men's volleyball championship of Asia organised by the Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC). It was held in Gresik, Indonesia from 24 July to 1 August 2017. It was the second time that the Indonesia hosts the tournament after the 2007 Asian Championship. The tournament featured 16 teams to determine the asian champions in men's volleyball.[1]
Japan were the defending champions going into the tournament, having won the previous competition in 2015.
