The constitution for Step 5 and Step 6 divisions for 2017–18 was announced on 26 May 2017.[1]
Premier Division
At the end of season 2016–17, the following teams left the Premier Division:
- Harrowby United, relegated to Division One
- Huntingdon Town, relegated to Division One
- Peterborough Sports, promoted to the Northern Premier League Division One South
The remaining 19 teams, together with the following, form the Premier Division for 2017–18:
- Daventry Town, promoted from Division One
- St Andrews, transferred from the Midland League
- Wellingborough Whitworth, promoted from Division One

Division One

- Harrowby United, relegated from the Premier Division
- Huntingdon Town, relegated from the Premier Division
- Lutterworth Town (or Friar Lane, depending upon appeal), promoted from the Leicestershire Senior League
- Pinchbeck United, promoted from the Peterborough & District League
