The 2017–18 season is Unione Calcio Sampdoria's 61st season in Serie A, and their 6th consecutive season in the top-flight. Sampdoria are competing in Serie A and in the Coppa Italia, and will look to improve on last season's 10th-place finish.

The season is the second in charge for former Empoli manager Marco Giampaolo.
