The 2017–18 Armenian First League season will be the 26th since its establishment. The season will begin in August 7, 2017 and is scheduled to conclude in May 28, 2018. Banants-2 are the defending champions from the previous season.
Teams
10 teams will also take part in this season's competition, of which 4 teams are only eligible to promote to get the promotion right to the 2018–19 Armenian Premier League by the end of the competition. The remaining 6 teams are the reserve teams of the football clubs currently participating in the Armenian Premier League competition.[1]
