The 2014 Copa EuroAmericana was the second edition of Copa EuroAmericana, a men's football friendly tournament created by DirecTV. This edition took place in the Americas on 20 July – 2 August 2014.[1] Thirteen teams from CONMEBOL, CONCACAF and UEFA participated in it.[2][3] Europe, represented by Atlético Madrid, Fiorentina, Monaco and Valencia, won the cup by a 5–4 score, beating the Americas, represented by Alianza Lima, Atlético Nacional, América, Estudiantes, Junior, Palmeiras, San Jose Earthquakes, Universidad Católica and Universitario.
Format
Each match is played all 90 minutes. In case of a tie after the 90 minutes, the winner will be defined through penalty kicks. The confederation of the winner team of each match is awarded with a point, and the confederation with most points will be crowned champion.
