2011 LG ICC Awards
The 2011 LG ICC Awards were held on 12 September 2011 in London in England. The awards were presented in association with Federation of International Cricketers' Associations.[1] The International Cricket Council has been hosting the ICC Awards since 2004 and was then in its eighth year. The previous ones were held in London (2004), Sydney (2005), Mumbai (2006), Johannesburg (2007, 2009), Dubai (2008) and Bengaluru (2010). The ICC awards the Sir Garfield Sobers Trophy to the Cricketer of the Year, that of which is considered to be the most prestigious award in world cricket.

Winners
The winners of the 2011 LG ICC Awards were announced on 12 September 2011 in a grand ceremony in London in England by the International Cricket Council.[3] The following are the winners of the different awards:

- Tim Southee – for taking 5/18 with one maiden in his alotted four overs against Pakistan in Auckland, December of 2010

David Shepherd Trophy for Umpire of the Year
Women's Cricketer of the Year
Spirit of Cricket
- Mahendra Singh Dhoni – for being too generous to recall Ian Bell during the second Test match between England and India at Trent Bridge, July-August of 2011
