The 2009-10 Coca-Cola League One season saw Millwall promoted back to The Championship via the Play-offs, after finishing 3rd in the table. This was Millwall's 83rd season in the Football League and 41st in the third tier.

* Southampton were given a ten-point deduction for breaching insolvency regulations, regarding their holding company. As they finished in the bottom three last season, the points deduction were applied in the 2009–10 season.[1]
