The 1991 Sacramento State Hornets football team represented Sacramento State University[note 1] during the 1991 NCAA Division II football season.
Sacramento State competed in the Western Football Conference. The Hornets were led by head coach Bob Mattos, in his fourteenth year. They played home games at Hornet Stadium in Sacramento, California. The team finished the season with a record of eight wins and two losses (8–2, 3–2 WFC).
