During the 1980s Tulane Green Wave, the American football team representing Tulane University in New Orleans, had as successive head coaches Vince Gibson, Wally English, Mack Brown and Greg Davis. The team had more losses than wins in most seasons in that decade, the only exceptions being 1980, 1981 and 1987.
