1976–77 Isthmian League
The 1976–77 season was the 62nd season of the Isthmian League, an English football competition.
It was the first Isthmian League season to use goal difference as a tie-breaker.
Enfield won the First Division, while Tilbury won the Second Division.
At the end of the season the league divisions were renamed: the First Division was renamed the Premier Division and the Second Division was renamed the First Division. Also, seventeen clubs from the Athenian League were newly admitted to the league, they were placed to the new Second Division, as the league expanded up to three divisions.
