The 1892 season was the first season in history for the Utah Utes football team. They played three games that year in which the team was 1–2. However, only one game counts in official NCAA records so their official record is 0–1. Utah lost to Utah Agricultural College (now Utah State University) 12–0 in the first game of what is now known as the Battle of the Brothers.^[2]
