Tumbler (glass)

A classic 20-facet Soviet table-glass, produced in the city of Gus-Khrustalny since 1943.

A tumbler is a flat-bottomed beverage container usually made of plastic or glass.

They are called "tumbler" because such glasses originally had a pointed or convex base and could not be set down without spilling. This compelled the drinker to finish his measure.
