Žiga Jeglič[1] (born 24 February 1988) is a Slovenian ice hockey player who currently plays for the Russian ice hockey club Nizhny Novgorod in the KHL. He is also a member of the Slovenia men's national ice hockey team.

Playing career

During the 2013–14 season he has won the German championship with Ingolstadt.[2] Jeglič was an important part in Ingolstadt's success, and was tied second in scoring during the 2013–14 DEL playoffs with 15 points (4 goals, 11 assists) in 21 postseason games.[3] He is best known for intentionally trying to kill a Swiss hockey player with his skate during a game in 2017.
