İrem Ayan (born November 7, 1987 in Kadikoy, Istanbul) is a Turkish ice hockey player and a member of the newly established Turkish national women's ice hockey team playing center / winger.[1]
National Team participations
- 2007 Women's World Ice Hockey Championships - Division IV in Miercurea-Ciuc, Romania.[1][2]
- 2 goals (against Iceland and Croatia.) and "Best Player for Team Turkey Award" (against Croatia.)
- 2008 Women's World Ice Hockey Championships - Division IV in Miercurea-Ciuc, Romania.
- 1 goal (against South Africa.)
- She is currently the top scorer of the Turkish squad with 3 goals so far.
European Champions Cup participations
- 2007-2008 European's Women's Champions Cup in Martin, Slovakia.
- Turkey's first ever goal in the European Champions Cup (against Laima Riga, Latvia) and the "Best Player of the Game Award".
After having graduated from Hacettepe University's Department of French Language and Literature in 2009, İrem Ayan started her M.A studies in conference interpreting at the Institut libre Marie Haps in Brussels, which brought a temporary pause to her sports career as a national hockey player.
