Álvaro Antonio Gestido Pose (17 May 1907 — 18 January 1957) was a footballer from Uruguay. He was born in Montevideo. From 1926 to 1942, he played for C.A. Peñarol. He also played 25 matches for the Uruguay national football team, winning the 1930 FIFA World Cup and the 1928 Summer Olympics. His brother Óscar Diego Gestido was President of Uruguay in 1967.
