Zygaena erythrus is a species of moth in the Zygaenidae family. It is found in France and Italy.[1]

Adults are on wing from the end of June to the beginning or mid August.[2]

The larvae feed on Eryngium species,[3] including Eryngium campestre[4] and Eryngium maritimum.[5] Full-grown larvae can be found May.
