Kim Hae-sol (born April 13, 1989), professionally known as Zion.T (hangul: 자이언티, Jaieonti), is a South Korean hip hop artist and record producer who is managed by the agency, Amoeba Culture. He started his career with collaborations and went on to release acclaimed solo records.[1]
Career
Zion.T debuted in 2011 and his first works were collaborations with well-known Korean hip hop artists. His name is composed of Zion, a place in the Bible and T which represents the cross. He released his first solo single, "Click Me" in April that year. His first solo album, "Red Light" was later released on 9 April 2013.[2] In December the same year an EP titled "Mirror Ball" came out, with the first music video being released for his song "Miss Kim".[3]
Zion.T also featured on albums of several K-pop artists such as Infinite H, G-Dragon and Kim Jonghyun from SHINee.[2][4]
On February 1, 2015 he released his single "Just" with recently debuted Korean artist Crush.[5] He released another single "Eat" on May 19.[6] Zion.T also participated in the biennial music festival event hosted by the variety show, Infinite Challenge. The show had participating artists team up with the cast of the show to perform songs that they had created together for the show. Zion.T partnered with Haha and they came up with the name Eutteugeottasi (Korean: 으뜨거따시). Their song "$ponsor" was later released along with the show's album.[7][8]
In October 2015, he released another single "No Make Up."
