Zenîma

Zenîma (full name Zenîma Granieri) is an alternative singer, songwriter and musician born on 1969 in Viersen, Germany.

Her symphonic debut was with "Butterfly-Mad Kate", 1995 (*1996 -*Butterfly (Mad Kate) by Zenîma - feat. Andrea Bocelli. BMG/Sugar 1996[1]), inspired by the illustration for William Cowper's "The Task" (1785) by Johann Heinrich Füssli. Zenîma's trans-age vocal timbre led to comparisons with artists such as Kate Bush, Rickie Lee Jones, Elizabeth Fraser, Kría Brekkan etcetera. Throughout her career, she collaborated with several artists, including Andrea Bocelli, Samuele Bersani, Club Dogo, Kate Bush, Metric, Christopher Cross, Mango and others. She is also accomplished in fields such as music for Commercials Advertising and Soundtracks short films, at times using other pseudonyms.
