Zamounde S. Allie Jr.
Zamounde S. Allie, Jr. is an American poet from Detroit, Michigan.
Biography
He is the author of three books, As the World Burns [1] (1995) ISBN 0533110467, The First Time I: Performance Poetry and More [2] (2004) ISBN 0595313248, We Shall Not Forget-A Family Saga [3] (2014) ISBN 0692247084 and also has works featured in the anthology Journey to TimBookTu: An African-American Poetic Odyssey (2002) ISBN 0971814805. He co-produced and read poetry on the Sankofa Perspectives radio show from 1997 to 2001 on KABF[4] in Little Rock, Arkansas. His lectures include the Brown Bag Seminars at McKendree University [5] in Lebanon, Illinois.
