Zachary "Zack" Scott Bogue (born December 5, 1975) is an American lawyer and investor. He is an advisor and managing partner for Metabiota, Inc., based in San Francisco.
Career
Education
Bogue attended Wheat Ridge High School in Wheat Ridge, Colorado from 1990-1994. He later graduated college in 1998 from Harvard University, where he lived in Thayer Hall during his Freshman year. As an upperclassman, he lived in Lowell House. There, he received an honors degree in Environmental Science and Public Policy. While at Harvard, he was a member of the Mountaineering Club, Phillips Brooks House Association, junior varsity football, and club rugby, where he held the title of captain. He holds a J.D. with honors from Georgetown University Law Center. At Georgetown, he served as executive editor for The Tax Lawyer.[1]
Employment
Bogue co-founded Data Collective, of which he is a co-managing partner. He previously worked at Wilson, Sonsini, Goodrich & Rosati. He co-founded Founders Den, LLC and holds the title of Managing Partner. He was a co-founder and Managing Partner at Montara Capital Partners. Formerly, Bogue was an Associate at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati. He was also a law Partner at Virtual Law Partners.[1]
Board memberships
He is a member of the non-profit boards of the East Palo Alto Charter School, the Tipping Point Community, and the UCSF Foundation.[1]
Personal life
Bogue married Marissa Mayer on December 12, 2009.[2][3] On the day Yahoo announced her hiring, Mayer revealed that she was pregnant.[4][5][6] In December 2015, the couple announced that Mayer gave birth to identical twin girls.[7]
