Za Bakdaz
Za Bakdaz : The Unfinished Opera is a collection of songs German countertenor Klaus Nomi was working on up until his death in 1983 from AIDS, a disease poorly understood at that time.[3] The album was released posthumously in 2007. The large majority of the tracks have never before been heard on an official studio release. Some of those involved with the project hint that the album was nowhere near completed at the time of Klaus' passing.

The doctors discovered that Nomi's immune system had collapsed, and also found a rare form of skin cancer, Kaposi's Sarcoma, breaking out on his body. The condition was not yet known as AIDS.
