Yves Fortier Earth Science Journalism Award
The Yves Fortier Award is presented annually by the Geological Association of Canada in recognition of a journalist who has been exceptionally effective in presenting an earth science story during the previous calendar year in one of Canada's daily or weekly newspapers. The award is named after Yves O. Fortier, a founding member of the Geological Association of Canada and a former Director of the Geological Survey of Canada.
