Yunus Emre Institute, (named after Yunus Emre, a Turkish poet of the 14th century) is a Turkish soft power[1][2] initiative created by decree by Recep Tayyip Erdoğan in 2007, as an organisation offering cultural and social programs.[3][4][5]
